Let’s start Building A Stylish & Inspiring Closet with Cheryl! I can help you with a variety of your closet needs, but I’m excited to help you pull together effortlessly looking outfits with clothes you already own. We will do a little tweaking and accessorizing all while having fun! I will give you ideas of what your closet is missing, help you mix and match styles and show you how to accessorize. I will take your BASIC wardrobe and give it some style! I will leave you with inspiration, confidence, and excitement with your “new” wardrobe.
Other services include BASIC Refresh and/or BASIC Rebuild of your closet. Together we will go through your closet and only keep things that work for you. Additionally, I now offer virtual Consults and text-to-style.

About Me
Hi! I’m Cheryl, owner of BASIC with Cheryl! Just a little about me…I grew up in a small town in South Carolina and attended Clemson University, graduating with a degree in Accounting & Finance. I married right out of college to my hubby, Sam. I started my accounting career at KPMG and worked there for a total of 12 years. In 2008, I decided to take a break from the corporate world and opened a denim boutique! It was a dream that became a reality. It was a true labor of love and a priceless experience. Eventually, I closed the store, had two kids, and life has never been the same (which is an understatement!)!
I have completely enjoyed my time away from the corporate world and fashion, but it is time to dip my toes into something else and come out of hibernation! What started as a girls’ night out, in a friend’s closet, enjoying spirits, having fun, and laughing all while styling and accessorizing outfits, blossomed into BASIC with Cheryl, Building A Stylish & Inspiring Closet with Cheryl! My new venture combines my business background with my fashion background all while having fun!
My friends say I have a special ability to pull an outfit together in ways they would have never done themselves. Some things just come easier to some than others. You certainly do not need an overstuffed closet or even high-end brand names, but you do need a few basics to help stretch your wardrobe and make it unique. You need to step out of your comfort zone and see things from a fresh perspective. You would be amazed at what a statement necklace can do for an outfit or how a simple white t-shirt can have so many purposes! Trust me, fashion stresses me out just like you! You do not have to have the most fashionable closet, you just need to feel good in whatever you wear. No matter if you are in the carpool line or attending a soccer game, you can still look pulled together with very little effort.
Let me help you take your existing wardrobe and show you how to make it pop with a little tweaking, editing, and accessorizing.
